I know many of us have the traditional bright orange, over the head floatation devices but there are so many more comfortable and stylish versions available today. With drowning a leading cause of death on the water, invest in life jackets that will encourage your guests to wear them. Update Your Emergency Equipment: Safety first –always. Be sure to check all of your emergency gear to ensure it is in working order and not expired. This includes fire extinguishers, flares, and smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. It is equally important to check your shore power electrical connector. If there are signs of corrosion or damage, it’s time for an upgrade.
