The first date is important since it determines the development of a dating relationship. The relationship grows from the first date to dating, courtship and eventually to a marriage relationship. However, some of the stages like courtship may be omitted completely by some partners. If you have a romantic interest in someone and you don't take action, then that person will never come to know your feelings. This means that the relationship will never get off the ground. You have to get brave and ask her out. Traditionally, it is the role of a man to ask a woman out on a date. A man should woo a woman, he should give her good reasons why she should accept him and not any other man. Now you ask, "How should I go about wooing a woman?" You should be confident and do the things that will make a woman to conclude that Mr. Right really exists. Of course, asking a woman out on a date can be frightening if you don't have what it takes to ask a woman out on a first date. On the other hand, if you never ask her out, she will never know if you have fallen in love with her. Taking a step to ask the woman you have fallen in love with out on a date is the beginning of knowing each other, an introduction that will determine what happens thereafter. If on the first date you find that both of you are attracted to one another since you share a lot in common, then your relationship will move to the next level. Nine Dating Tips For the First Date 1.) Know why you want to ask someone out. That might seem like a silly advice but if you're clear on what you want, then you find it easy to express yourself when the time comes to pop the big question. 2.) Prepare yourself for rejection. There is always the chance you'll hear a "No" when you ask someone out for the first date. The reason may not have anything to do with you at all, or it could be that the other person just doesn't feel attracted to you. Being prepared for a rejection will help you not to have feelings of being stressed. Learn how to be gracious. 3.) Practice your lines. Of course, you should be spontaneous and let the real you shine. Practice what you're going to say before you ask her out. Familiarize yourself with what you want to express so that you don't find yourself unable to speak when it comes to time for asking her out. 4.) Always be prepared with details. Don't ask her out and then fumble around with ideas what to do and where to take her out for the first date. Suggest specific destinations that she will find interesting. 5.) Don't overdo the flattery but let her know that you're attracted to her and you're looking forward to know her better. 6.) Never pressure a woman to go out on a first date with you. Not only does it not work but it shows how inconsiderate you're. When you politely accept her refusal, you leave the door open to ask her out at a future date. 7.) Don't drink alcohol in order to get a boost of confidence. Natural confidence is much more attractive. First impression matters a lot, be sober-minded for the first date to be successful. 8.) Wait and ask her out when she is alone. Don't approach her when she is surrounded by a group of her friends. This will make her to say no when she would otherwise say yes. 9.) Never stand-up your potential partner. When you get the nerve to ask her out and she says yes, be sure to meet each other as you had promised. Never abandon a first date if something better comes along. Treat each other with respect.
