These non-lethal or less-lethal weapons are used with the intention to cause least possible injury to the lives. However people are occasionally seriously harmed and killed, and are also found to have long-term effects. Mostly damages are caused due to repetitive attacks, inadequately planned attacks, per-existing medical conditions, intentional misuse of weapons, inadequate training, etc.

It is considered as the safest defensive tool by people, including military forces, police, and public. They don’t have long-lasting effects, and once sprayed, will be effective for a few hours, at the most. Also they are always, widely available at supermarkets, pharmacies, and if nothing else, then online! They are relatively cheaper than other non-lethal weapons, and come with significant returns. You don’t have to prepare yourself for various minutes or hours to get ready; when you feel alarmed and see the attacker around you, without waiting for any longer, burst two-three sprays onto his face and eyes.
