Nothing Happens Until You Make It Happen

I see you with the big ideas, the big dreams, the big goals…

You think about it, you talk about it…

And then you go back to live out your ‘settled-for’ life because you don’t actually think that you can have everything you dream of.

You think your dreams are too big…

You think that if it were to be then God would make it happen for you or there would be some clear sign from the heavens telling you what to do next…

And so you wait and wait for the sign…

You wait and wait for permission…

You wait for the perfect time…

You beg and plead with God about your big idea…

And all the while you do nothing towards it - Nothing at all.

Can I just remind you that the sign from heaven has already been given, in that you want to make it happen, right?

Then get to work making it happen - That is all the sign you will ever get.

Your dreams are never given you to taunt you - They are given to you in the specific way that you have received it because it is your destiny to fulfil it but honey… Nothing happens until you make it happen…

You want the certainty of knowing that it will definitely work but that is not the way faith, calling, purpose and trust works. You have to actually start moving with your eyes focused on the peak of the mountain where you want to go and you keep putting one foot in front of the other until you get there.

You cannot predict all the high and low points you will experience on your walk up the mountain…

You just start walking because you are determined to make your big ideas happen.

You trust that as you start to walk, the necessary doors will open when you come to them or that something even better will open up as you walk on your chosen path.

You stop second-guessing and stop-starting on your jaunt up the mountain to your big idea - You just keep doing the next thing.

And no, it is not a dreary journey where the only joy you ever experience is at the top of the mountain, OH NO! It is a journey of joy and happiness because you know you are currently living out your destiny, living out the calling on your life and it fills you with glee that you get to do this.

Not like the path you are on, right now…

The settled-for life where it is a struggle to make it through each day because you are not on the right path for you. You are just going through the motions of being a responsible citizen with bills to pay and a mortgage to pay down. Where is the joy in that?

I know you have to do those things but honey you could do them while living out the life you are called to. It is just about redirecting your energy so that you start to create wealth doing the thing that you are called to do. Imagine a life where you get to have both - lots of money and work you LOVE!

It is possible, you know!

Lots of people do live it - Not the majority, of course because the majority seem to think it is impossible and yet, it is only impossible if you decide that it is.
