Non-gonococcal urethritis(NGU) is a sexually transmitted disease caused by pathogens except for gonococcus, mainly chlamydia trachomatis and mycoplasma. There are clinical manifestations of urethritis, but no gonococcus can be found in secretions, and no gonococcus can grow in bacterial culture. Female patients often complicated with genital tract inflammation such as cervicitis. NGU is a sexually transmitted disease that many people have heard of. It is relatively harmful, so patients must be treated. So what should pay attention to in the treatment of non-gonococcal urethritis? 1. Targeted medication according to pathogenic bacteria. In addition to the mycoplasma and chlamydia (mainly infecting microorganisms), 10%-20% of the disease can be caused by Trichomonas vaginalis, Candida albicans, Staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus, yeast, anaerobic gram-negative bacilli and so on. Therefore, the treatment of non-gonorrhea should vary from person to person, and the medication should be determined according to the infected microorganisms. 2. Sufficient course of treatment. Mycoplasma and chlamydia are intracellular parasitic microorganisms, which are less sensitive to antibiotics than general bacteria, so they should be used for a relatively long time, usually about two weeks. Patients had better not blindly buy drugs to take, so that pathogens may be exposed to drugs and did not kill, resulting in drug resistance, next time the drug will not work. 3. It's best to use a single drug. Interaction between drugs is complex and changeable. Generally speaking, non-gonococcal urethritis should not be treated with more than two drugs at the same time unless they are known to have synergistic and complementary effects. Because this is often harmful and unhelpful, such as the antagonism between drugs will reduce the curative effect, increase the cost of treatment, and increase the number of drug-resistant strains of pathogenic bacteria, thus making further treatment more difficult. 4. Pay attention to the examination and treatment of sexual partners. Because some people suffer from venereal diseases for various reasons and are unwilling to let their families know, they also neglect the diagnosis and treatment of their partners, thus causing repeated infections, which does not mean that the treatment is ineffective. 5. Attention should be paid to the development of the body's disease resistance. Drug therapy needs the cooperation of the body's disease resistance ability to achieve better curative effect. Drinking alcohol and continuing to have sex during treatment (despite condom use) can significantly reduce the efficacy, which is easily overlooked by some young people. In addition, there are irregular rhythm of life, spicy hot pot and other food, overwork, chronic diseases and so on. Generally speaking, the disease can be cured as long as everyone treats it in time and the treatment method is appropriate. For the treatment of NGU, a kind of natural medicine called Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill for men and Fuyan Pill for women can be used. At the same time, we do not need to worry about much, which will bring serious psychological barriers to themselves. And maintain an optimistic attitude for the treatment of diseases is also very good.
