Ochocinco still getting adjusted to Patriots offensive
After signing a 3-year contract with the Patriots, Chat Ochocinco is still trying to adjust to the team’s offense after spending ten seasons accustomed to the one from the Bengals, though the wide receiver is expected to be completely integrated by the time the season starts in order to serve as one of Tom Brady’s main weapons, and concerning this, the New England quarterback said that “The formations, the motions, the details of our route tree, is challenging for anybody. And to do it on such short notice is another thing, but he’s working hard at it, and we’re working hard to be on the same page. We’re making improvements, but we still have a long way to go.”
Biggest NBA markets are the biggest losers in the lockout
If the NBA misses an entire season due to the lockout, the losers are not just going to be the fans, but also the owners of teams from the biggest markets, such as the Lakers, whom might lose en estimated of nineteen million, and the Knicks and the Heat, whom might lose eighteen and fourteen million respectively. Negotiations between the parts are on hold, and they are expected to start again anytime soon, which is why a 81-game full season is not likely to take place, and with a 50-game season being the most positive outlook.
Chargers might relocate to Los Angeles
With a new CBA in place that will last for ten years which was created to help the league to maximize profits, and the approval for the creation of a brand new downtown football stadium, a new franchise for Los Angeles (the second biggest market in the USA) is almost a reality, and although the NFL has said they won’t be expanding, the team will be a current one that hasn’t been meeting financial expectations and which will be relocated to the Californian city. The new team could be moved to LA as soon as this spring, and it seems like the Chargers are the ones destined to switch hometowns.
Woods ready for PGA Championship
Tiger Woods haven’t won anything since 2009, but the experienced golfer said that he feels ready for a win at the last major of the season (the PGA Championship), and also mentioned that even though he wasn’t able to do much at the Bridgestone Invitational (he finished tied for 37), he said that such tournament served as preparation for him and is now ready to be a real contender, and well, only time will tell on that last part.
