In the present scenario most of the business identities prefer to use information technology in order to flow their business smoothly and increase the productivity of their employees as well. In most cases, these corporate houses need to store their data in a secure and easily approachable place. Hence, they store them in the database server of their PC. Therefore, here the need of OLAP becomes vital as this sort of system easily sorts out this problem by storing a huge amount of data in a structured format. The task of this system is not confined to storing the data, but this can also be very helpful in using and processing that data. With the help of this system, various companies also generate different types of reports, which are used in the further process to make some important decisions in improving the business development.

rnOLAP uses the large amount data, which is further retrieved in a multi-dimensional form. Here, with the help of Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools, the multi-dimensional database is used for reporting and data warehousing in the form of an optimized database. While a relational database stores the raw data. There are different categories in which the OLAP system is available in the market. The most popular ones are MOLAP, also known as Multi dimensional OLAP, which is primarily concerned with accessing the data from multidimensional database. In general, the concept of data cube is used by the multidimensional database in order to represent the data dimensions in a way so that one report can be viewed and examined through multiple ways. The cube is created by the database tables.

Put simply, the OLAP application has come into the picture in the current corporate world as the best alternative to handle management queries with so much ease. Obviously, it works effective when one
