OLAP Server is intelligent software which enables many users access its data and reports simultaneously without facing any type of problems. OLAP server uses mainly two types of data accessibility, the first one is ROLAP and the second one is MOLAP. ROLAP stands for Relational OLAP and MOLAP stands for Multidimensional OLAP. MOLAP uses the data from the relational database to create its own multi dimensional database which is helpful in producing the results in a faster way. ROLAP directly takes the data from the relational data base in processing its report which is slightly slower than MOLAP in response time.
