A person who gets addicted will lose enthusiasm in everything he used to like earlier. He would feel no interest in watching sports on the Television anymore and will play games instead. He'll find his old interests dull and will find no other activity except to come back to the computer and begin again with the game he had just left.

Those people who devote an unusual time on the computer will slowly start losing their muscle mass. It is because of biological reaction to the new situation, the human body cautiously manages it energy applied and it will take into account the current muscle weight unnecessarily heavy. It can be explained in a way that it was necessary when he was playing an outdoor game like football but now while soaking in the chair all day, it’s a waste of nutrients.

This condition is very dangerous for kids as they are in a developing age and such activities can harm their growth.

Decrease in personal hygiene

Addicted gamers are very least interested in almost anything including health and good hygiene. For instance, nobody will mind if you don’t collect stamps anymore but when it comes to washing your face or brushing teeth then it’s a different question. Laundering clothes, shaving and taking bath is part of day-to-day life and it’s important to give interest to them since ignoring them will make a person messy and will have a higher likeliness to get sick as well.

Decreasing social activity

People have got a need of conversing with each other and believe that they are part of the community. This act is called socializing and is present since the birth of mankind. Nevertheless, an addicted person would feel a very lesser desire to talk with other or meet his friends as well as give time to the family because he gets enough joy from gaming and feels that his life is imperfect without it.

This is very risky for teenagers and young people. In early age of their lives they start learning to act, talk and socializing as parts of the society and it's important to pass through this experience. If this is ignored, then their personality may lack these capabilities which can later lead to problems.

In conclusion, online games are surely fun but in a fair amount and they will by no means cause harm to anyone but excess of almost everything is bad. One has to be reasonable to understand when to stop.
