Faith is a direct byproduct of believing. What is believing? Believing is having the upmost confidence that God can do what you desire for Him to do. God is not haphazard. He will not send Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and leave us that way. Being saved yet engulfed in our mess is not God’s best.
God sent Jesus to redeem us from the curse of the law; to give us emotional and physical health, give us a new life in Christ, give us the mind of Christ, as well as prosper us financially. God does a full and total work: nothing missing nothing broken. It may take us some time to get to the blessed life but it has been given to us waiting on our acceptance of it. Ephesians 1:13-14 says “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance…”
Your best life is ahead of you. All you have to do is believe. Your belief will lead you to develop your faith. As your faith grows and you begin to confess or speak out loud what you desire it will begin to manifest itself in your life. But it all starts with believing.
“…and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power…” Ephesians 1:19.
