Like normal humans plants also require adequate amount of nutrients and minerals for their proper growth. The soil in which they are planted does have some amount of minerals and nutrients but not all, which is generally required. This is the primary reason fertilizers are a requisite for the development and performance of plants. Fertilizers are basically of two different types such as organic and chemical. The names of these fertilisers itself defines the make of it. Organic fertilizers are natural and easily available. In fact this type of fertilisers can be made effortlessly. They are extremely beneficial for the plants as it provides natural nitrogen minerals to the plants. In spite of having a modest density of nutrients, organic fertilizers are considered to be advantageous for plant growth. Organic fertilisers are suppliers of nitrogen to plants acts as a slow release fertiliser due to the insoluble nitrogen components in it. If you do not use chemicals and just try to feed your plants the organic way it is surely a convenient way. Chemical type plant foods are definitely more practical. Most of them come in a type that must be together with water followed by being dispersed on the plants. But natural growers also have a great way to feed their lawn, namely rich compost.
One of the best features of these organic fertiliser is they emphasize the benefits of humus along with other components of the soil. This substance helps to retain the moisture in the soil, prevents the top soil erosion, helps in avoiding the boom and bust patter and mobilizing the existing nutrients in soil for the increasing the growth capacity for plants. Some of the artificial fertilisers cause damage to the plants on its regular usage. The organic fertilisers help in rectifying certain problems created by the artificial chemicals. For example, it cuts down the necessity of applying artificial fertilisers on a regular basis, cures the extensive lack in nitrogen nutrients and last but not the least the organic fertilisers are cost effective with easy availability.
Every product comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. The organic fertilisers also have some disadvantages as well such as the composition of these kinds of fertilisers is more complex than the inorganic ones. You can easily make organic fertiliser for your plant. It is a simple process and can be done with ease and perfection. However, the organic fertilisers manufactured by the professionals are more appropriate without and adversities.
