We are very pleased with our first golf season at the Scottsdale Country Club on a number of fronts which include the following: • Game Day ‐ We introduced Game Day at Scottsdale Country Club on each Wednesday which encourages members to entertain guests for the family guest fee at our, Scottsdale private golf Club, which is half of the accompanied rate. It is still early in the process, but preliminary reservations indicate many members are taking advantage of this day here at our Scottsdale private golf Club. • Pride of Ownership ‐ The Scottsdale private golf Club at large has embraced this agronomy support program by correctly raking bunkers smooth and eliminating rake marks, repairing ball marks by pinching the turf together to filling divots with sand, and seed from the bottles in the cart. It is refreshing to have the membership take pride in great course conditions and playing surfaces. • Meet or Beat Pricing - Many members have taken advantage of competitive prices of all hard good inclusive of clubs, balls, gloves, hats, etc. As you compare prices with many off course stores in the community, you will see our golf shop prices “meet or beat” all the other shops. • Rattlesnake Skins - One Friday afternoon per month at 3:30 p.m. has been well supported with as many as 28 teams competing for that elusive skin during the alternate shot format. A reminder – the final skins game is scheduled for April 15th – one player must have participated in three (3) events prior to the final. • Rally for The Cure - This member fundraiser will be held on Sunday, March 13th with a 12:00 p.m. shotgun start for the first 120 players to enter. The entry fee is $150.00 per member and $225.00 per guest as space permits. • The Gentlemen’s Member Guest Tournament ‐ the “Round Up” is scheduled over the dates April27‐30, 2011. The Tournament is fully subscribed with a field of 72 teams playing nine whole matches. • The Ladies’ Member Guest Tournament ‐ it is scheduled over the dates March 28‐31, 2011 playing nine hole matches. • Ladies Club Championship - it Will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 5th and 6th using a stroke play format. • The Men’s Club Championship – it Will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 26th and 27th using a stroke play format. All in all we are pleased with the enthusiasm and support We are receiving from the membership for our events, the Golf Shop and your professional staff.
