Outdoor lanterns can enhance the security level significantly, as it will be much difficult for the intruders to break in under lights. In many complexes, security cameras are placed in tandem with the lamps and the combination of the two connected to the central security system. Therefore, anyone who breaks in will not only be tracked but the identities of the culprit will also be revealed with ease. The outdoor lanterns can be both electrically powered and solar powered depending on the mode of use and requirements of the users. The only difference is the fact that in case of solar powered lamps, the electricity consumption is almost nil whereas the electrical powered ones will consume a fair amount of electricity which will increase the overall expenses for the users. However, solar lamps are much less intense compared to the electrical ones and therefore not suitable to be used in places with a large open space.
