Numerous people are suffering from depression nowadays. While many try to overcome depression by taking some conscious treatment and using natural remedies like physical exercise, most of us having mild signs of depression or just feeling depressed don't even know that we are depressed. Whatever may be the case, there are lots of articles and materials on how to overcome depression. But in my opinion, depression is difficult to handle if it is viewed as a problem to overcome. What is it if not a problem? Let's dig into and understand what actually depression is and what is the right way to handle it. Depression is a state in which a person does not like to work. He does not like his circumstances, the way he acts, behaves, talks. In short, depressed people do not like their existing state and badly look for a change where they can be comfortable and productive. This badly looking for a change is a great boon, which normal people usually don't have. Normal people fear change because of their existing comfort getting disturbed, which is the biggest hurdle for their growth and success. If there is a way to succeed with ease, depressed people would discover and implement it first. Among great examples are Lord Buddha and Eckhart Tolle. With a little expansion of knowledge, one can consciously turn depression into a big success! Here are some simple steps. Most of these steps are taken from the book True Fundamentals of Life. Refer that book for more details. Step 1) Are you depressed? Check if you are suffering from depression or are showing any sign of depression. Congratulate yourself if you find so. Step 2) Understand the purpose of life. People seem to have lots of confusion here. They run for things which is not relevant for their purpose, and unnecessarily get burned and depressed. Step 3) Things seem difficult if you think from the competitive plane. Jump to the creative plane and experience how easy it is to succeed. Once you start working in the creative plane, the world looks quite different. You enjoy every moment of your work. Step 4) Acquire knowledge on how to pursue your purpose and have a conscious plan for it. I am repeating - all this is quite easy whenever you are in the creative plane. Step 5) Know about the conducive attitudes for success. Gradually practice and develop those. Step 5) Expand your understanding whenever you face a hurdle. Any hurdle can be easily overcome just by expanding our understanding about it. Unstoppable big success is inevitable if these steps are sincerely understood and followed.
