The diet our forefathers used to eat is termed as the Paleo Diet Menu. The time period when our elders used to feed on such diet was from many years ago. The people at that time used to hunt the animals for eating them as food. This type of eating habit changed with the advancement in agriculture. The people started consuming grains before 10,000 years ago. This was through to be an essential and major change of diet otherwise 99% people were having grain free diet. Grains were considered to the new diet but other fact is that we cannot entirely depend on grains as they may cause serious health issue which might be difficult to treat at times. The reason is the presence of anti-nutrients which do not get absorbed in the gut. The anti-nutrients in grains are thought to be the evolutionary strategy. So many people are not able to digest the grains so paleo diet menu is very indispensable for them. This is an important point to be notices that the paleo diet menu was so restrictive and was without any taste as it had a less variety in it. People were used to eat such food so there was nothing new to induce salivation in them. The recipes in paleo diet menu are so simple and classy and there is no need for having a lot of ingredients. The recipes are as simple as keeping a piece of meat in the oven and serving it with the favorite vegetables, ghee or coconut oil. On the other hand, the other recipes have so much variety that one can serve its guest the soups, roasts, omelets, stews, a variety of salads etc. and there are no limits. There is an extensive use of herbs and spices such as basil, dill, ginger, garlic etc. to enhance the taste of the dish. There are certain times when one wants to make some food suing a quick recipe with fewer ingredients then the paleo diet menu recipes are the best choice so we cannot say that we can never consider these recipes as they are helpful at times. There are certain cooking tips which were used by our mothers and grandmothers and they are quite helping but they are not being now a days. These tips make the cooking easy and they are better to be adopted so that cooking food becomes enjoyment rather than just a task. Some of the examples of such tips are mayonnaise, salsa, butter clarification, fermenting of vegetables and fish etc. there are some foods which I consume by using the paleo diet menu recipes offer so many flavors which I have never tasted before in a regular American diet. Examples include Bone marrow, squid, venison, liver pate, rabbit, tongue, heart and coconut etc. It is not an easy thing to have new ideas for meal and having lack of options but there are still some good choices from the paleo diet which might be used. I always try for people to make it easy to cook good food and also let them know about the health and unhealthy foods. In addition, I also let them know about the benefits they can have from paleo diet. The best possible way to have response is to provide a two week plan and then ask about the experience. One more plus point is that a person can skip the meal anytime and paleo diet is not about having three courses of meal in a day. It is also possible to fast and one can adjust the meals around the 24 hours accordingly. For more appropriateness, links are available for the recipes. Such meal plan given can also be stretched to 4 or 5 weeks easily but there are chances to have leftovers for some lunches and dinners. The food can be stored in the freezer for later use. This will save time to cook the meal for every time as there may be some meals which would need time for their preparation so they can be cooked and stored. Some examples are soups, stews etc.
