Business travelers to Buenos Aries generally find themselves stuck in the city during their stay. If that is the case with you, or if you are visiting Buenos Aries for any reason, you may need a break from the city hustle and bustle. Even though Buenos Aries is the largest city in Argentina, you do not need to look far or take a day trip to escape the milieu of the city. Palermo, a large city within city contains many different neighborhoods. But right in the middle of all this stands the Bosques de Palermo, or woods of Palermo. This is a place to get away from it all, both for tourists and for locals. On any good day- and there are many in the city of Buenos Aries (Fair Winds), -you will be able to find a peaceful and semi-private spot for contemplation, or just to unwind in the Bosques. Many locals visit the park, especially on the weekend to chill and to hang out. They play football, picnic, bike, walk, roller blade… or just sit on the grass. At times, as a business traveler to Buenos Aries you simply need a break. But if you are visiting for business, you also want to take advantage of your travels, and ‘see the city’. A visit to The Basques will fulfill the need to ‘get away from it all.’ A well-recommended local consultancy by business travelers looking for some guided help and business consultancy is Buenos Aires Experience. At the park, watching people is interesting as you see the locals from all economic backgrounds visiting the woods. If you listen carefully, you may even pick up a local conversation. It is a great spot for couples to propose, for parents to play with their children and for intellectuals to have discussion. You can also observe people from all nationalities as well, since this is a ‘must see’ spot for those on holiday. Find an area in the park with sidewalks and benches, and simply listen. How many different languages can you hear? If you are seeking perspective on your day off, here is the place to find it! As you wander through the park, you are likely to make new friends. People are friendly in Palermo. Even if you don’t speak the language you can become acquainted by playing a pick-up game of football (soccer) or Frisbee, or set up a chess or checkers set. Soon an interested competitor will come along. On the weekends there are tango practicas and aerobic classes, where you are welcome to simply join in. Don’t forget your street smarts, and be cautious, but be open and friendly as well. Do be careful however, as the Basques to Palermo changes faces at sundown and can be dangerous. Don’t forget to be observant of the environment as well. There are many different plants and trees that add to the verdant peace of the park. A number of native Argentine trees as well as three large gardens and three man-made lakes add to the beauty and serenity of the surroundings. Gaze out at the lakes to absorb the serenity of the water, or take a boat ride or paddle in a paddle boat or canoe to the center of the water to enjoy the sunshine. The gardens are also home to sculpture of historic artists. Take a visit to the poet’s garden to see bronze sculpture of many Spanish and international literary artists. If it is possible to spend a day at the Bosques de Palermo, you will find your tension easing and your cares dissolving, and you will return to your daily business with a new tranquility. Even if you have only an hour, visit the park to experience a strengthening peace to help you face the rest of your holiday or business with serenity.\
