My Hercules slept with a stuffed toy every night. It was a stuffed ALF, and he loved it dearly. From that, I learned that, look at the courageous strength that Hercules had, but the gentleness to be so big and to hold the beautiful stuffed toy in his arms as he slept. nnHow wonderful that is. So, I, too, walk with the strength of holding my head up high when I go through trials and errors and challenges in the world, but with a gentleness within my heart, knowing that everything will always be okay.nnHercules, from the day I had him, had a habit of holding his paw at his mouth to comfort himself like a child sucking his thumb, and he did it often. I always smiled when he did that. Every morning, Hercules and I would get up at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. Yes, 365 days a year! nnBetween 2:00 and 5:00 in the morning, the veil is very thin between this world, the spirit world and the angelic world, it’s easier to communicate with Angels and Loved Ones on the Other Side at that time. So that is when Hercules, my beautiful mountain lion and I would get up, play with each other and do our special prayers and meditation.nnHercules was a gateway and a connect to me and the Angels and Loved Ones on the Other Side, as animals are all psychic. Some animals are more intuitive than others. You will all know this. There are certain pets that we can look into their eyes and we know that they almost have human characteristics.nnThese are animals that are evolved souls, and they’re just in animal bodies. Hercules was such a soul. When we would get up, he would play as a child, so he always reminded me to let the little girl inside myself come off to play.nnHe loved helium balloons, so I used to get him one on a regular basis. Believe it or not, he would hold the string in his mouth and parade the balloon around the house so proud.nnI used to buy him little children’s tents… Well, he was awful big. He’d get in the tent. His head would stick out one side and his tail out the other and he’d stand up and parade himself proudly around the house in these tents.nnSo, for the first hour when Hercules and I shared our special time together walking around my home together, it was always playtime. Then, it was time to get serious. We would settle down. I would be in a meditated state, whether it was in the middle of my living room, or on my screened-in porch looking out at nature.nnHave a very blessed day now. nnCarrie Carternn
