We have made incredible strides towards democracy, but it has required great sacrifice. To date, nearly 85,000 U.S. military loved ones have had a parent or even spouse slain or handicapped in procedures in Iraq and Afghanistan. To help repay those men and women in uniform for their sacrifice, we are gearing up for a different operation: Patriot Golf Day 2010. Golf Courses across America will unite on Labor Day Weekend (September 3-6) to raise scholarship dollars for our military family members. In 2008 nearly 4,000 courses participated. Our objective in 2010 is 5,000. We are on our way with sign ups coming in every day.
