After the end of the study, it was found that group members with pedometer took about 2100 more steps a day compared to those who did not use a pedometer. 2100 levels are equivalent to 20 minutes of walking which indicates 30% more daily walking. All you need to do is to walk furthermore around the park or garage, walk to your place, school or college if it is within walking distance and try to play outdoor games. After two or three weeks increase your steps with 500 additional steps unless you reach to 10,000 steps per day. If you are eager to lose some of your weight, then walk around 12,000 to 15,000 steps a day.
