Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj Performing Hajj and Umrah are different things and have their own significance in Islam. Performing Umrah in Ramadan means that the Sawab and blessings would be equivalent to Hajj and that does not mean that you have performed Hajj. The benefits of Umrah in Ramadan become doubled due to unlimited benedictions showered by Allah Almighty. Narrated Ata: I heard Ibn `Abbas saying, "Allah's Messenger (ï·º) asked an Ansari woman (Ibn `Abbas named her but `Ata' forgot her name), 'What prevented you from performing Hajj with us?' She replied, 'We have a camel and the father of so-and-so and his son (i.e. her husband and her son) rode it and left one camel for us to use for irrigation.' He said (to her), 'Perform `Umrah when Ramadan comes, for `Umrah in Ramadan is equal to Hajj (in reward),' or said something similar." Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 1782, Book 26, Hadith 10, Vol. 3, Book 27, Hadith 10. In terms of fulfilling the duty, Hajj and Umrah are not equal rather the Hadith means that they are equivalent in reward. If we consider methods and actions, then no doubt that Hajj is the superior one. Moreover, I have experienced that while fasting and performing Umrah you feel calm and your surrounding feels soothing. Feeling of humbleness, courage, self-confidence, and positivity emanates in you and you directly talk to Allah by being a guest of his house. It is quite relaxing when you see a large number of people sitting and worshiping and their only objective is to connect with Allah. It is truly magnificent that people sit together for Iftar and break their fast on the call of Allah (Azaan). This is actually an enlightening experience for every Muslim, that they would never be able to forget it and will always be thankful to Allah. In the sacred month of Ramadan. Umrah embraces special significance and it is a lifetime experience that one should attempt to achieve. You should think of going for Umrah in Ramadan 2021 to enjoy the powerful sanctifications. Chance to Avail the Night of Blessings The night of blessings is Layla-tul-Qadr, the most magnificent night that comes in the month of Ramadan. In this night Allah will forgive all the sins of a believer if he atones. It is a spiritual that one shouldn’t miss and if it comes when you are performing Umrah it’s of intrinsic worth. We all know that when the month of Ramadan starts we got so excited and energetic for fasting so that we can fulfill our religious obligations. As time passes we start losing the energy that it was in the start but when you are in Ka’bah the same energy gets doubled. So if you don’t want to miss this opportunity then book your Umrah in Ramadan 2021 in cheap packages. Attain The Peace of Life The routine of Muslims changed in this Holy month of the year. They used to eat Sehari in Fajar and break their fast with Maghrib, and everyone sits together for the meal. It is another level of satisfaction when you do the same thing in Mecca and Madinah. You get to pray in Holy places with your heart’s gratification. Your whole feels pure and calm and you get the peace of your life, you know that Allah will forgive all your past sins and you can start your life once again with humbleness and modesty by serving the mankind. The following Hadith clarifies the point of removal of sins while performing Umrah: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ï·º) said, "(The performance of) `Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed (between it and the previous one). And the reward of Hajj Mabrur (the one accepted by Allah) is nothing except Paradise."rnReference: Sahih al-Bukhari 1773, Book 26, Hadith 1, Vol. 3, Book 27, Hadith 1 On the other hand, Umrah unifies the Muslim Ummah without any discrimination of color, caste, creed, etc. In Allah’s eye, every individual is equal and no one has superiority over each other except by piety and good action. This month stimulates love, kindness, sharing, and caring which serves as an amalgamating force. A clean soul endorses good acts and brotherhood which is the certain objective of the Muslim community. Encouragement of good behavior promotes peace in your life.
