This park also houses 320 different kinds of birds . Some of the most sighted birds are darters, racket-tailed drongos and kingfishers. With this Periyar is also the home of 30 snake, two turtle, and 13 lizard species . This national park is also famous for 38 different types of fish and 160 different kinds of butterflies .
