In early December, I logged into my business checking account to check my current balance after paying the bills. Low residue surprised me, so I began to review recent transactions - and to my surprise, they found four cash withdrawals from ATMs in St. Petersburg, Russia! Criminals have made a duplicate of my checkcard and use it (with my pin, apparently) to withdraw hundreds of dollars.
Bank of America returned the money in your account that evening, while its own investigation, so I could pay my bills. But if I did not check his account, he was able to be emptied (and I may have bounced checks) without my knowledge.
Are you liable for fraudulent transactions?
You may be aware that under federal law, you are responsible only for the first $ 50 of fraudulent credit card transactions. * Report card loss within two business days after you realize the card is not a limit of $ 50 =

* Do not write your PIN or security codes
