Every year, thousands of people go through many types of surgeries and the most common amongst them is knee surgery. They are of two types: arthroscopy and arthroplasty. Maximum go through these types of surgeries because of Osteoarthritis which is very common bone and joint problem in which the smooth cartilage that protects and cushions joints are worn away. Due to this swelling, pain, redness occurs which leads to limit the physical activity of your body. Physiotherapy of Knee Disorder plays an important role in the overall outcome of joint replacement surgeries. Its main objective is to heel the aftermath of the surgery. If the patient is undergoing through pain both physical and mental then physiotherapy and physiotherapist enables the patient to overcome trauma which they have gone through. They prevent contractures, enhance patient knowledge, and strengthen muscles around the joint through controlled exercise programs. Physiotherapy can be started soon after the knee surgery, it can be started at home or you have to visit the physiotherapy centers for your sessions. In maximum cases the post knee disorder surgery includes small and soft movements of the body. It starts with doing some movements like walking, stepping and climbing while sitting on the chair only. Later on physiotherapist recommend them to have a walk of small and soft steps and sometimes recommend them swimming. These exercises are done gradually to strengthen your muscles and increase the mobility of your knee. Majority of the athletes and sports person go for physiotherapy as they suffer Sports Injuries. Players suffer from minor injuries and majority of them suffer from sprain or tear of ligaments and therefore doctors recommend them physiotherapy, thankfully they suffer from minor injuries and not the major one as to overcome from the surgery will take time and will affect their carrier. Despite of all safety measures players suffers from injuries which occur while they are in action; like players of Rugby suffer from muscle sprain or ligament sprain as it is the game of great speed and stamina. In wrestling players suffer from face, shoulders, neck, spine and head injuries as it has a lot of physical work to do. In cricket majority of players suffer from knee, hands, elbow and wrist injuries. American football, ice hockey and boxing players of these sports suffer from insomnia, headache, cervical injury, spine injury and neck pain. Athletes who are involved in running and long jump suffer knee disorder, sprain of ligaments and sometimes tear of ligaments and tissues. Athletes who belong to the category of high jump, shot put and javelin throw suffer back, spine and cervical injuries. The injuries are minor in maximum cases but still they have to go through the trauma of pain and discomfort. Whatever may be the problem, physiotherapy is the ultimate solution for all kinds of problems.
