The Best Himalayan Salt Lamp is the purest form of salt available to us today. It is directly extracted from the Salt Mines located at the foothills of the Great Himalayan Mountains. The mineral salt is known to contain more than eighty minerals and elements that are the same as the ones required by the human body. These minerals are necessary for the healthy growth of mind and body. Unfortunately, the man of today fails to understand the extent of how deep the electrical devices have infiltrated our lives. We must understand the harm that this lifestyle causes us in the long run. The Himalayan Salt is an easy way to include nature and health into your lives. This salt is without any chemical addition or any other modification which changes its nature. History: The Pink Mineral Salt is extracted from the salt mines from Khewra in Punjab, Pakistan. These mines are located in the foothills of the Himalayan Range. The crystal salt deposition is a result of the evaporation of a large water-body some 300 million years ago. The dissolved minerals and salts were left behind embedded in the soil of the Himalayan Range. The practice of extracting salt from these mines dates back to ages before the industrial revolution. The need for salt for consumption and preservation purposes led to its high demand and thus value in those times. Ever since then salt has been a major constant in the history of mankind. Features: The Pink Salt contains important salts, minerals, and even metals in perfect quantities, safe for human consumption e.g. sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, chlorine, iodine, phosphorus, silicon, zinc, aluminum etc. The metals and other elements like chlorine, silicon etc. are required by the human body though in miniscule amounts, and the pink salt proves an excellent source. The Himalayan rock salt lamp when warmed generates negative ions. Other sources of negative ion in nature are waterfalls, rivers, trees etc. Naturally, the composition of both positive and negative ions is almost equal in nature, but in our urban lifestyle, the quantity of positive ions exceed because of the trending usage of electrical devices. To cancel the harmful effects of positive ions, we need negative ions. The salt can be utilized in many different ways, both direct and indirect. The salt can be consumed directly in food, in drinks, in bath salts etc. Also, it can be used indirectly like in salt lamps and tea holders etc. Both of these methods provide different benefits. Benefits: There are numerous benefits of the Himalayan rock salt on our health and environment. Some of them are discussed below: • Neutralize Electromagnetic Pollution: Extended exposure to Electromagnetic Radiations produced from cellular phones, computers, televisions, kitchen appliances, office machines, etc. cause chronic fatigue, increased stress levels, and decreased body’s immune response. Over time these effects take a toll on the human body and mind. • Air Purifier: The pink salt is a natural air purifier and dehumidifier. It cleanses the air of bacteria, virus, allergens, pollen, dust, bad odor etc. It, being moisture absorbent in nature, also keeps the air from getting humid. • Reduces Breathing Complication and other Respiratory Problems: Purifying air and removing the risk of germs and bacteria among other things, reduces asthma symptoms, relieves breathing complication, seasonal allergies, coughs and chest congestions etc. • As mentioned before the effect of negative ions is tremendous. These negative ions exude a calming effect similar to that of a natural landscape. The negative ions boost energy levels and improve one’s immunity. The negative ions also increase serotonin levels inside the body. They help with relaxation and regular sleep patterns hence improving one’s mood and health.
