First of all we will see the importance of Sun in out astrological planetary chart. The Sun is the centre of our cosmos, so we call our Zodiac Sign is really our Sun Sign, or the position of the Sun at the time of our birth. If we move outward from there, we have the personal planets, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, which move faster than some of the outer planets. Mercury is usuallyrelated with communication and self-expression, Venus governs creativity, beauty, and love, and Mars oversees action, manhood, and confidence.
The planetsoutside Mars are called as the transpersonal planets, because they move at a slower speed than the personal planets, and often affect changes on a generational level. The transpersonal planets are Jupiter, which rules luck, expansion, and opportunity; Saturn, which is associated with restrictions, limitations, and responsibility; Uranus, which is associated with sudden change, instability, and strokes of insight; Neptune, governing dreams, psychic ability, metaphysics, and creativity; and Pluto, which runs deep transformation and generational shifts in consciousness.
Each planet moves through the sky, which is called transiting. As the planets transit each sign, they form aspects with the existing planets in your personal chart, create events and bring new people to help you grow and develop in lifetime.
Each planet is also associated with a particular Zodiac Sign as its ruler. The planet gives the sign its unique flavour, and influences how it will express itself in your life.
KEY PLANETS ACCORDING TO BHAGYA SAMHITA
BhagyaSamhita says key planets usually refer to the Sun and Moon in the chart, along with the ruler of the sign on the Ascendant. They do not affect the importance of the other heavenly bodies, but these planets are the most individual points in the entire chart because of the personal interference these planets reflect the most sensitive side of your being.
BhagyaSamhita says that the Sun is our perseverance in life. It's what we have come here on Earth in the manifestation to do and express our self. If you are not expressing what your Sun needs then you will find yourself unhappy and thusmuch unfulfilled.
So often, especially younger people in their teens and early 20s ask "why am I here? What's my purpose?" That answer is found in their Sun and its Zodiac Sign and the house placement in the chart wheel. Aspects to the Sun are indications if the individual will have an easy time fulfilling that purpose or not. Remember, the aspects colour how easy or difficult the expression is and the Sun is all about self-expression.
The Moon is your emotional receptor. It holds your past memories and we can almost say it is your inherited ties. The Sun is born to emit, and the Moon to be friendly. The lunar principle is to collect and filter through the feelings. It's your sensory device and your inner radar, which is most beneficial if you take the time to listen and feel her responses in your gut. The Moon shows how much you relate passionately to yourself, cherish yourself, and emote. Again, the aspects the Moon makes in your chart will be very tell-tale about how you face the emotional situations.
The Ascendant is what people see in you at a first glance. It's what you project of yourself to others. The ruling planet by sign, house, and aspect will give more information about your character and attitudes toward yourself and relationships with other people.
