Marketing material should grab attention, get your prospects reading, and by dynamic – able to work in multiple ways to the benefit of the business. Pocket folders/presentation folders are the perfect way to make that happen whether it be direct mail, trade shows, or business meetings.
After all the advancements made with technology and networking, classic marketing material remains one of the best ways to target prospects, generate interest, and drive sales for a business. In 2010 over 500 billion dollars in sales was generated via direct mail alone, proving that classic methods are in the game to stay. Not only that, but they are working – and working well.

There are many best practices to take into consideration when making your marketing material a success. The best way to give people a reason to read your company’s marketing material is to somehow make it substantial. Take for instance a standard sales letter that may be mailed in a regular envelope.

If your prospect gets this envelope, it is mixed in with a stack of bills and other envelopes that may be brushed aside. To fight this, some advertisers put copy on the envelope itself or an entire design graphic on the front. In other cases they may place a trinket or novelty into the envelope.

But to really stand out from mail, brochures, and postcards and so on, is to use a pocket folder. Incorporating a pocket folder into a direct mail campaign will set it aside from the rest of the mail and seem as if it is of utmost importance. Elaborate graphics, logos, and designs can be implemented to the front and back to customize it to the prospect as well.

The best way to get the most out of your marketing material is to make your marketing dynamic and adaptable. Here again the pocket folder becomes essential. Not only does it have the ability to house sales pages, brochures, postcards, white papers, reports, data sheets, and pretty much whatever you want to include for your company, but it has the ability to be used anywhere.

In a direct mail campaign, for instance, the pocket folders can be used to store the aforementioned marketing materials. However these presentation folders can also be used for business conferences or sales meetings. If you are going to a trade show and you want a convenient, well designed, branded package to give to prospects and interested partners, you can use the presentation folders to do so.

Incorporating pocket folders into your marketing plan allows a convenient one stop of information for prospects to have. This takes the stress and strain out of having to rifle through multiple materials and loose-leaf marketing when it’s contained in one stylish and easy to use folder.
