Pollen allergies are getting the common with many people across the United States.  People tend to carry symptoms like sniffling, sneezing, itching allergies etc.  You might also witness some of your friends to be sensitive towards ripening tomatoes and pollen of flowers. There are many pharmaceutical medicines which are used to treat pollen allergies, yet it helps in treating sneezing and itching. The article will focus on the treating Pollen allergy symptoms by using natural methods. Neti Pots:  Neti pots are a useful way of flushing out pollen allergies with salt water. Basically Neti pots are small vessel shaped pots that you used to flush out the sinuses and keeps your nasal passage clear. This technique is used for thousands years in India. However, this idea has been modified in many western countries.  It acts almost like a nasal spray. Neti pots will help you with the washing of pollen grains and helps in treating allergies for sinus congestion. Report and studies say that nasal flushing is an effective ways of treating seasonal allergies . It is result is reduced use of antihistamines.  Neti pots at the first place are inexpensive and are very easy to use. This flush out the sinus, mix a quarter to a half teaspoon of non-iodized table salt in lukewarm water and finally pour it in a pot. What you need to do is to simply lean towards pot, and put the spout in your one nostril and let the water drain through the other one. Repeat it twice and then blow your nostril, to clear it completely. Quercetin: it is a natural plant derived from a compound known as bioflavonoid, quercetin which helps in curing mast cells and prevents the excessive secretion of histamines. Sometimes, quercetin is also considered as natural antioxidant, which effectively cleans up molecules having free radicals. Free radical cause cell damage and in most of the cases, even leads to cancer. A few vegetables and fruits are naturally loaded with quercetin, such as citrus, fruits, onions, apples, parsley, tea, tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, wine are enriched in thus anti-oxidant, yet pollen allergic people need a bit of extra doses. Anti-allergic foods:omega-3 fatty acids are the best anti-allergic foods. Foods such as cold-water fish, walnuts, and flax seed oil, grass-fed meat and eggs are enriched in Omega-3 fatty acids. Butterbur: it is derived from a weed found in Europe. It is also known as Petasites Hybridus.rnThis herb acts as an antihistamine, tough it is a little difficult to find this herb in the United states.rnThis is known as Butterbur, as it was often to wrap butter in order to save it from melting. A British journal of medicines says that it is loaded with drugs like cetirizine, active ingredients such as Zyrtec. These chemicals are supposed to be non sedative medicines and keep you away from drowsiness. Patients can serve this weed thirty two milligrams per day divided into four equivalent doses.  However, as a matter of precaution, it is advised to consult a doctor before using this weed, as in some cases it may also lead to an increment in the persisting symptoms.
