We are so much dependable to the physicians that we cannot at any cost avoid them. If we are alive, this way or that way we need to visit to a doctor. The doctor then prescribes some drugs with the name of some medicine that are given by the medicine producing companies. The original name or the ingredient name of the drug is different. A company is providing the name of a same medicine with a name and the other company introducing the name by other name. But the basic ingredients of the medicines are similar. This kind of medicine is called prescription drugs with which name a doctor makes a prescription.

The doctors prescribe them if they think that a particular medicine is genuine enough and made of pure ingredients though this is a confusion to decide like that. Sometimes they prefer the brand name and sometimes they choice the medicine by the instigation of medical representatives. Thus they both make their lot. But if they are written by the name of ingredients of by the genre name, the patient party will decide the brand that will be economical to them. The patient party has no such liberty to make a choice of their medicine as the prescription is done by a doctor and all have a notion that other medicine of same ingredients will not work so prominently. Sometimes, the matter is the same; the medicines of same ingredients do not work similarly. Here is the main problem of some low branded medicines that are not of the same range of medical testimony. This should be looked after by the government before giving permission to that medicine companies. So, we cannot say always that we will not buy prescription drugs.

But the hope lies that if generic medicine has come to open market hugely, the cost of the prescription drugs will be reduced remarkably. If the medicine of generic type does the work of the prescribed medicine with same strength, power and authentically, people will bend on it a lot. The monopoly of prescription drugs will fall down along with its cost.
