Prevent Wrinkles and Fine Lines with Minimal Effort, and Just a Pinch of Common Sense

Is it even possible to prevent wrinkles from forming as we grow older? After all, nobody can remain youthful forever, or at least that's what we're usually told. Well, you only need to look at some of the Hollywood stars to know that you can at least slow down the aging process, and contrary to what many people believe, they don't all go for cosmetic surgery. Many people also argue that many of the stars look younger than they are simply because they have lots of money, which in turn means they live stress free lives. In reality, this simply isn't always the case, and in fact, being a famous celebrity can be immensely stressful - rehearsals, performing on set, and attending all those functions. Celebrities also have the added stress of knowing the future of their acting career depends on their physical appearance, at least to a certain extent. This is particularly true when it comes to models, so how is it that they manage to retain their good looks for so long? Ironically, it's this type of stress that actually helps them to keep lines and wrinkles at bay. They know that if they start letting their guard down, they're not going to feature in the next big skin care advertizing campaign, and that means they'll be losing millions of dollars. That's right, their good looks are due to the fact they take proper care of themselves, and not because they use the products they're promoting in the adverts. So, where does one start in order to prevent wrinkles? It all starts right there in your own home, and to be more specific, it starts in your kitchen. Your diet plays a huge role in terms of physical appearance. For example, the average pizza contains very few vitamins, and it contains absolutely no antioxidants at all. Antioxidants fight of the free radicals which cause premature aging, so it just makes sense to eat foods which contain plenty of antioxidants. In other words, start eating more fresh fruits and vegetables and less pizzas, burgers, and etc. Once you've finished in the kitchen, it's time to head for the bathroom. Proper hygiene is imperative when it comes to keeping your skin in top condition. For example, make sure you wash you face two or three times each day, but only ever use a very gentle facial cleanser when doing so. Your anti aging regimen should also include a gentle exfoliating scrub once or twice a week, followed by an all-natural deep cleaning facial mask. During the day, you should ideally be using a good anti aging day cream, followed by a nice anti aging night cream. Unlike us, our skin doesn't sleep, but it does behave slightly differently at night while we're enjoying our dreams, hence the reason why you get day creams and night creams. A good eye cream is also highly recommended in order to prevent lines and wrinkles around the eyes where the skin is exceptionally delicate. Of course it goes without saying that you should never even contemplate using anything but natural skin care products. While those containing chemicals may appear to give fast results, the results will be short lived, and your skin will be left in an even worse state than it was before. Whether you like the idea of doing some exercise or not, you'll just have to accept the fact that it's totally necessary. Doing exercise sets of an entire chain of events within the body, and many of these are essential if you're hoping to retain your youthful appearance. Lastly, get out and spend some time in the sun. Yes I know, this goes against everything you've ever read, but the fact is your body actually requires a certain amount of sunlight. Of course you should use a good sunscreen, but providing you do so, your skin will respond very favorably if you spend a few minutes in the sun each day.
