In recent times there has been dynamic hike in the prices of all mandatory commodities which has adversely affected the monthly budget of all the families across the world. The impact of a hike in the prices has greatly influenced all the industries of the society including the health industry. It is said that enjoying a good health is the fundamental right of all the citizens in all the countries throughout the world, that now a days people even hesitate in going for medical check-up in case if they suffer from any type of health problem. This is mainly due to the cost of treatment including medicines and physical tests that are conducted to offer treatment of particular health problem. It would be surprising to know that the hike in the treatment of diseases has only affected to so-called high defined health problems like cardiac problems, tuberculosis, hypertension, etc, but also the health like oral or dental problems towards not many of us had attention during our lifetime. You will agree that a layman haven’t paid any attention towards his teeth and consider cleaning them twice a day sufficient for to enjoy the beautiful smile. But he understands the relevance of dental health only when he faces any type of problem in the form of bleeding from the gums, teeth dislocation, or teeth breaking due to any accident. These are the conditions when he feels the need of dentist in emergency. Interestingly, it is the time when he not only realizes the importance of oral health, but also comes to know that reality about hike in the cost of treatment. It is the time when he understands that taking proper care of teeth would have protected him from paying high cost for dental treatment. Now the question arises. That’s why despite of hike in dental treatment cost most of the people still prefer to visit a private dentist rather than dentist present in NHS? Well an answer to this question in simple words is due to proper care, instant treatment and individual attention on each patient. Apart from this another reason due to which people suffering from any oral problem move to private practitioner is due to the latest techniques of treatment available with these practitioners that are not available at NHS. Some of the other reasons towards the treatment from private dentist or dental clinics are referred below: 1. The dental clinics do not charge an extra amount for taking out the X-Rays, as the dentists working there believe that taking x-ray is the part of check up and detecting the dental problem and not the extra work. 2. The price of some treatments is almost the same, for example, if you want filling in teeth, then it will cost you the same charges as you would have paid for whitening your teeth. 3. They do not charge any hidden prices. 4. If there is need of fixing a crown over your teeth, then the charges of all crowns is same despite of the color chosen by you. Moving ahead you will also not be charged for any type of x-ray taken to examine the condition of your teeth. 5. Similarly if you have to go for root canal then the cost of dental treatment will include root canal for all teeth’s. It also includes the cost of x-ray and different fillings needed after the treatment. 6. Interestingly if you are suggested to fix the denture then its cost will be the same whether you prefer to go for metal denture or chrome denture the cost will be the same for all denture’s. 7. Finally the last but not the least, the patients are informed in written and oral about the total cost and after getting consent from them the required treatment is offered to them. Going through all these benefits lots of patients are moving towards private dentists or dental clinics.
