Education is the key to success, but the education that the schools provide the real key to success. The question is how to get the actual education? Is it only the schools that make a person educated or is it the type of school that even matters? According to a survey, it has been proved that when parents start applying for schools to admit their children, they crave for private schools. The reason is quite simple. It seems to be the mindset of the parent community to consider private schools the best. In a comparison between a private and a public school, parents tend to think public schools are most suitable for the children of less privileged class of people and for the private schools, it is just the vice-versa. Let us find out why the common people make such differentiations between the two categories of schools.

The difference between the two starts from the way children are being taught. In public schools certain topics such as religion and gender practices are considered as taboos, while in private schools they teach whatever it is necessary for children to know. In such corners, the styles of teaching in public schools are as conservative as compared private schools.
Funding is a major factor of differentiation between public schools and private schools. At the elementary level, public schools are restricted from charging any sort of tuition fees in many jurisdictions. The fees in high schools are pretty modest because they are funded by local property taxes.

Many districts get funds from the State as well as federal sources. Whereas in private schools the students for every facet of their curriculums. Private schools do not take helping funds from the public or government because of which they operate with a balanced budget. Their fees are decided by the market forces.
Well, these are differentiations looks small, but when it comes to implications, it really makes a literal difference.
