Professional Writing - Write Articles Yourself

Professional writing is an easy way to promote your products and services without spending a cent. Writing effective articles just takes a bit of time but will increase traffic to your site and possibly even increase your revenue. Meaningful, well written articles with quality content has a very important part to play on your success.

When article writing you want to make sure to grab the reader’s attention in the very first moments because if you don’t, they will probably stop reading. Many readers have a short attention span. In the first sentence, opening with a question is one of the best ways to grab the reader’s attention. Select one really good topic and write a 500 - 700 word article.

Introduction:
In the first paragraph clearly state what the article is about and who it’s for. Think: who, what, where, when and why.

Benefit:
A brief description of what you will learn in this article.

Body:
Short paragraphs explaining the best information you have. Before even beginning to write you will want to focus on only three points that you can explain in detail. This makes it easier for the reader to follow. If you have more, that’s great. Use them to write another article. Try to include personal experience if you can.

Conclusion:
Summarize and create curiosity. How to create curiosity? Ask questions! Any sentence can be turned into a question just by rewording your phrase.

You want to make sure to write only what you know about that works. Clear your mind of any negative thoughts such as: I don’t know how to write. Say to yourself, “I am in the process of learning to be a great writer.” Write as if you are writing to a friend or colleague. Do not edit your thoughts as you write. Let go and let it happen. Just write, write, and write. Let your fingers fly. Finally, ask yourself, “What do I want to create?” For example: more business, more money, etc.

No selling! You want to provide high value information in order to gain trust. By doing this, the reader is more likely to click on the link to your website and purchase one of your products or services.

You have to be 100% confident that your article is free of any grammar or spelling errors. Get a friend or colleague to proofread your article; they will more than likely have some beneficial suggestions for you.
