It is a marketing item that can be used to reach any demographic group. The size of flash drives also makes them ideal promotional products. Flash drives can easily be slipped into a pocket or purse. This makes them perfect for use of trade shows or anywhere groups of people are gathered. The size also makes it easy for a marketing professional to put several dozen of them into a bag or briefcase and transport them to where the crowds are gathered. Potential clients are usually glad to take a promotional item that does not take up much space especially if it performs as necessary a function as a flash drive does. The key function of promotional items is to convey information about a company to a potential customer. Flash drives provide a clear level surface on which to put contact information of the company it is trying to promote. The company name and contact information can be easily emblazoned on the flash drive and long after the marketing agent has left the flash drive will continue to remind the customer of the product or services they provide. All the marketer need do is choose a font and a colour combination that attracts attention and the flash drive will act as a miniature billboard promoting the company's name.
