Many businesses make the mistake of thinking that they must spend huge amounts of money on their marketing campaigns if they are to generate more business. This does not necessarily have to be the case. Lots of businesses are just as successful creating smaller less expensive campaigns that are focused on a particular group of people. Simpler campaigns that are well researched and focused can yield the same results as those that are costly and applied to a larger demographic. It is important to be creative though if you are thinking of spending less and you do have a tighter budget. Choose your target audience because these are the people you will need to keep in mind throughout the process if you are to ensure you are meeting their needs. Once you have identified your audience, think of what tools you can use that will have the strongest impact on them. Is your audience a group of people that are likely to use bumper stickers or would they welcome a postcard, for instance.

Creating a positive impression
To create a positive impression, ensure that whatever tools you do use are of the highest quality. Make sure that the appearance is professional and that your brand or logo is visible. If you are mailing then use quality paper and envelopes or card so that your customers know that you are serious and that you value them as consumers. This is the first step in letting your target audience know who you are and why they should use you.

Designing your sticker
If you choose to use stickers then make sure they are always up-to-date with the most current contact information and branding. If you have made any recent changes then you should make sure that these are reflected on the sticker. If your product is carefully designed and well prepared then it should have a strong impact. People will put them on their bumpers or in their windows so that others will see them too. In this way you will be attracting as much attention as possible while your target audience do your marketing for you. Make sure then that your stickers are noticeable and highly visible so that your audience will want to do this for you. Make sure that they will last too. Paper stickers will rip quickly and easily where as others made of more durable material will not damage in bad weather.

What to include and what to think about
Advertising your product or service with the use of free stickers is obviously very cost efficient, particularly if we are to consider the cost of a radio advertisement or television commercial. They can also have just as strong an impact if they are well thought out and aimed at a specific audience.

If your sticker is designed with an eye-catching image or has been printed with vivid colours that don’t take away attention from the message but draw the reader in to the brand then you will have created a successful, business-generating sticker. Include all of your corporate branding and contact details without bombarding the sticker with too much information. Include just enough for the reader or viewer to understand a little about you and remember your branding should they ever require your service or want to buy something you sell.

With your design and budget in mind, choose a printing specialist that will make sure your product goes to print on quality materials that will last so that they can be applied to any surface without damaging. You should be able to find an online printer that can take care of this for you at a cost you can manage.
