Affiliate marketing is not for the light hearted. It takes a long time just to grasp all the ins and outs. It takes a lot of trial and error to get a full understanding of how this beast works. Being an affiliate marketer takes a lot of hard work and dedication. However, in the long run you reap the joyous and most exciting benefits of all your hard work and effort. The goal, after all is to get to a place where you can quit your day job and become your own boss, never wake up to an alarm clock again and be able to work in your pajamas. As an affiliate you have heard all about link cloaking. Link cloaking is being able to hide your affiliate links from the Internet user and in turn, making them more search engine friendly. By doing this, you in turn protect your affiliate income. Why would you want to hide your affiliate links? Because those links are your golden ticket to perpetual online income. A software tool that is capable of hiding your affiliate links can help to bust your income. So it is imperative that you use this tactic to protect your revenue. Links can be hijacked by unscrupulous Internet surfers who will steal your commission right out from under your nose. And worst of all, months could go by and you wouldn’t even know that it is happening. Hiding your affiliate links is sure to let you sleep better at night. The simplest way for hiding your affiliate links is to shorten them into tiny URLs. There are several web sites out there that offer free services to do just that. You can generate many short URLs of your affiliate links by using the link cloaking tools from these websites. You also have the option to buy link cloaking software to hide your affiliate links. Why would you pay for it when you could get it free? Well, there are many reasons why. When you pay for software that allows you to hide your affiliate links you have many other benefits that come with the software as well. Imagine for a moment that you have been promoting an affiliate product but you are not getting any sells. You do a little research and find one that you believe will actually convert quite well. If you used a free version of cloaking you links, you now have to spend several hours if not days tracking down where all your links are and changing them to the new affiliate site. If on the other hand you had used a professional link cloaking software, you would merely need to change one link. This link is the link that all your affiliate links are pointing at for redirection. Simply changing this one link would redirect all the links that you have out there no matter where they are. That’s it! It can be done in a manner of seconds and you are done. There are so many more benefits to hiding your affiliate links that I have not covered here.
