Quality problems are concerned by sellers and buyers. Sellers need good quality to earn more profit and buyers need good quality so they can use the products properly and for a longer time.
Everybody has experience of buying some products or service with quality problem. Sometimes the products we bought can not work properly. Sometimes the products have defectives so we have to spend time on repairing or exchanging another one. Some sellers used the cheaper one to replace the better one, so they can gain more profit.
As for online business, buyers and sellers may reach a deal, but at the end, the buyers may complaint that the products are not worth the price they have paid or the products are not good. Since all the products must be delivered by logistic companies.
Many companies and individuals are afraid of entering e-business market due to quality concerns, although some e-business websites have introduced third party involvement to settle disputes.
E-business sold some business information, which could also had quality problems and the leading e-business company Alibaba really set a bad example in such business deal. It is good that Alibaba could take active attitude on such problems and solved it well.
All the B2B e-business platforms need to take strict measures on information quality posted on the portals.
