Now-a-days due to fast and furious lifestyle of ours stress has become quite natural and unavoidable. But this does not mean we should stand helpless about it. Reducing stress is not an uphill task and we can easily control and reduce its effect on us. There are loads of things that one can do to reduce stress but the most popular tips to combat increasing stress is to do basic things in a perfect way. Don’t overdo things rather resort to an easy and simple approach towards problems and challenges in life. This is a good away to deal with the stressful issues also. rnA good night's sleep is very much important and essential in reducing stress. After a long and tiresome day you must need adequate sleep to recharge and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. Sleep helps our mind to work in proper ways to solve problems with unique solutions. Have a healthy and balanced diet always to keep yourself healthy and stress free. Vitamins and minerals are very much important diet to reduce stress and hence try to consume these everyday to meet the need of your body. Always go for a heavy breakfast as this is the most important meal. rnTry to achieve a balance in your life. This is the best way in reducing stress. Too much loud lifestyle is not the way you should strive for rather learn how to balance each and every aspect of your life. Take a rational approach and evaluate your life and lifestyle. After evaluation try to blend your life with both work and entertainment to stay stress free and optimistic. Try to find some time for yourself and your family/friends. Spend good time with them. This is really helpful. Enjoy your existence. Take pride in living your life. Make yourself happy by doing things that appeal you more. rnMusic is a widely used relaxation therapy in reducing stress. Research has shown that a very influential way to diminish stress is to listen to soft music. Eg- classical music. After you return from school/college/office try to listen to good soothing music for 30 minutes or so. Allow your mind, body and soul to relax with the grand narratives of the octaves. Also reading book, watching television, watching movies come handy in overcoming dreadful consequences of stress. Try laughing - Join a laughing club/ society. This may sound funny but laughing helps a lot in reducing stress. Regular exercise is also important. Try jogging, running for 30 minutes every day. Try to play some outdoor games in your free time. This is not only good for your body but unwinds your mind and soul also. But again to remind you don’t overdo things! Try meditation, yoga also. These are of immense help to combat stress. Search for inner peace .Try to structure a rational outlook about life. Stress is part and parcel of life and hence learn to live without it by doing little things and giving little efforts in reducing stress. Do not let stress dictate your terms rather dictate it in your way.
