Buku Abi, the R. Kelly’s Daughter Has Taken Some Drastic Measures, was suffering from her affiliation to her father ever since she had been born -- it had been long ago the first accusations were brought up against him. Abi, who had been born Joann Kelly, has changed her legal name at the same point, in order to get around the instant relationships. But that has done very little to help her evade the pressure put on her by the general public, coworkers, and classmates, and she has clarified that it is fairly difficult for her to find any work with other people, since they immediately judge her for her father's activities. She also wanted to make it crystal clear that the situation appeared quite different on the inside than it did from a person's perspective, also explained that life has been tough for her in general as a consequence of what her daddy had allegedly done with young women. It was at the point that other kids started to realize the gravity of the situation around her father, and it looks like Buku has gone through quite a lot, even in her youth. The 21-year-old told the AP:"I believe you get to see a different side of it than somebody who sees it from the outside and gets to watch the glitz and glam. I got to observe the hell part of it. At home it is normal, you are living a life together with your parents; your daddy and mom aren't going to enter all the terrible things that may be going on outside of the house." She added:"Children in college don't necessarily care. I think this was the hardest part for me for so long, I went with this particular image of who my father (was) and what my loved ones (was)." But at the moment, her troubles persist, as many have shunned her straight out the door simply because of her connection with the legendary R&B singer. Some fans say hopefully she'll manage to shed that association in the long run, although judging by the recent developments about R. Kelly -- who's confronting 18 counts in federal indictments on several sex crimes -- that is most likely not so likely.
