The nights are moderate in the month of May with the temperature falling to the level of 28 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in May is 41 degree Celsius. In the month of January, the maximum temperature is 23 degree Celsius and the minimum is 68 degree Celsius. You can visit Alwar via rail, air or road. The nearest airport is Jaipur. rnCity palace – Alwar The city palace was built in the year 1793 AD by King Bakthawar Singh. This is based on the combination of Mughal and Rajput style of architecture. You will really fell spellbound on seeing this magnificent structure when you visit Rajasthan. Bala Qila rnWhen you visit Alwar, go to the Bala Qila. When you visit this fort, you will become spellbound. This stands in all its magnificence on a hill. You can see the Nikumba Mahal palace. When you enter the place, you will become spell bound to see the marble columns [Bengal caned] and the fragile latticed balconies. You can enter this magnificent fort through many gates. They are six in number and you can enter through all of them. Bala Qila is a magnificent fort at an elevation of 595 meter above the city. From north to south, it extends to a distance of around 5 km. From east west, the distance is around 1.6km. In the fort, there are 15 large towers. Apart from this, there are 51 small towers. These contain 446 loopholes for musketry. The towers numbering eight which are all around act as defense to the fort. 3599 Kanguras are the most magnificent ones. Each contains 2 loopholes for musketry. rnPalaces in Rajasthan are really outstanding symbols of Indian architecture. Visit Rajasthan and have a trip to remember throughout life.
