Pet owners may be appalled about the ingredients in the kibble that is served to their dogs. Most dry pet foods are made with ingredients that are not good for the pet but are just fillers. Raw dog food does not contain the grains that can cause digestive problems for the pet. Just as a human being feels better by changing to a diet of natural foods, so do their pets. Many dogs are picky eaters because their humans are trying to feed them foods that they are not intended to eat. These foods do not provide the health or energy that the dog needs. Most of the commercial foods are made with other than the foods that are loved and needed. Even pets that quickly eat all the kibble in front of them may not get the nutrition needed in forms that are digestible for the dog. Pets that are switched to a diet containing only the foods they were intended to eat have fewer problems with allergies. These allergies can cause upset stomach and diarrhea. In addition, they are often the cause of the puppy's gas problems. Digestive allergies can cause pets to lose weight and vitality even though they are cleaning their dish. These wrong foods can also increase the problem of shedding. The quick change of diet restores the pets coat to a lush and glossy fur that does not have the shedding problem. This can reduce the problems of pet fur on furniture, clothing and carpets. Additionally, the pets that have problems with scaly and itchy skin may have the problem go away in just a few days after they start eating the better diet. One of the most appreciated improvements of the diet based on uncooked natural foods for the dogs is the change in stool. Pets eating these foods have smaller stools that are firmer. Cleanup of the yard is easier and smell is virtually eliminated. After a few days, the stools will dry to a white powder that decomposes in the grass. When pets are given uncooked meats and bones, they have healthier gums and teeth resulting in better breath. When dogs chew uncooked bones, they strengthen and clean their teeth naturally. Cooked bones are dangerous for dogs as they can splinter, but raw ones provide the necessary exercise to keep the pet's mouth healthy. When dogs are switched from many of the available kibble diets to a more natural alternative they have more energy. They are healthier and have more vitality. While dogs of every breed can benefit from this change, it is often most appreciated in sporting and working dogs. Since dogs are man's best friend they should be provided with the best foods possible. In reward to the companionship and friendship of your pet, provide him with raw dog food so that he gets the nutrition needed to stay healthy for his entire lifetime.
