An important point in PPC campaign is that the client is paying for each and every person visiting his site. Keeping this in mind one should consistently work on the campaign and analyze expectations/intent of visitors. This is the only way one can satisfy client aspirations. No matter what is the aim of PPC campaign, lead generation or online sales, with passing time and steady flow of clients one tends to saturate? And this saturation can be lethal in the long term.

To avoid this saturation one has to continuously have an eye on key words as well as landing page. Few ways of doing so are given below:

a.) Making Keyword Groups:

This is normally starting step of re-alignment. We have to go through word used by visitors to reach our page and check how many times they appear on page. Once we identify words that are most used clubbing them in such a way that clouds of keywords are formed is essential. Next step is identifying various networking sites where these phrases can be placed. Sites like facebook, linkedin and twitter are meeting place for various group of people. We have to be present on them in all possible places via blogs or mails. E.G. prospects are reaching landing page by using “Internet games” than we have to ensure this word gets maximum placement on the first page and also we used it on all social blogs posted.

b.) First Hand Research:

What better way to improve on campaign then getting feedback from customers as well non customers. Getting a standard questionnaire filled from all visitors as well as prospective clients on social networking sites can help in more than one way. We can get a range of information from the audience. This can be like what visitors liked on our site, what is their feedback on our services and also what are positives of our competitors. The questionnaire can be kept at most visited section of our site and/or at some networking sites. Putting questionnaire on other sites will get us response of prospects who are not using our services which can help us in knowing why they are not inclined towards us and what needs to be done for alluring them.

c.) Studying Competition:

Sometimes whatever we do is not enough in getting huge flows or targeted flows to our site. In such condition we have to look what is happening around. Studying what our competitors are doing, what is their strategy on placing keywords and how have they designed their landing page can help in ironing out our mistakes. Visiting competition sites and searching all links on them which are drawing people helps enormously. Blogs that are posted by them on services and relevant pages should be studied to gain most.

Once above steps are followed it leaves us with much to do to keep enhancing traffic on our site. These people would be more productive for our business leading to effective use of each penny spent on campaign.
