What and how much we put into our bodies makes a massive difference on how our bodies act, how we feel and the results that come from our actions. Taking valid steps in the directions of our goals in the food department is an integral, genuine maneuver that must be kept under wraps if we are to work toward our hopes and dreams for ourselves.

Living within our means, enjoying all of our options in moderation and welcoming food for its goodness, energy and taste is what we are working toward. Living a healthy lifestyle requires that you do your part to make it come to fruition. It requires that you not only take 100% responsibility for you, but it also requires that you are 100% involved in the choices that you make in the food department if you wish to create a healthier, lighter you. Having this control over your platter of choice couples extremely well with your commitment to your exercise program, because not only does living a healthy way of life require you to be 100% responsible for your food input it also requires that you are 100% responsible for your physical movement in your life. Therefore, if you follow through with your will and desire to eat well and you include your exercise into the equation, you will be successful.

Here are a few tips on how to fare well in the food department:

~Be prepared: if you are ready to roll at all time you will create a successful pattern. ~Eat: food is our friend, choose it wisely and in a timely fashion. ~Moderation: never completely eliminate anything from you world. ~Enjoy: choose exactly what you want and delight in your option.

It’s all about how much you put into your body and how much you move. If you put in too much food and not enough movement you will gain weight. If you put in a little less food and include movement you will lose weight and finally, if you put in equal amounts of food and exercise you will maintain your weight. This philosophy has been around the block for approximately fifty years, there have been barely any adjustments to this way of living a well-rounded life and I personally can’t foresee it changing. The bottom line is this, to make the changes in your life it requires diligence in the food and exercise department. Food and exercise co-exist as a partnership, there’s no way around it if you seek the results that it so kindly provides for us.
