You and your VA will be working as equals, so there is no boss - employee relationship which usually causes awkward conflict and unnecessary procedures that just drags the business down and lessens productivity. As a VA is also a businessperson selling himself or herself, the both of you have an understanding of business functions and finances, something that an employee is not really expected to appreciate or even understand.
