Many have asked, “If there really was a God, why would henor she allow all the violence, poverty, and suffering thatnis so prevalent in our world?”

This question implies a belief that God is only good and thatnsome antichrist is behind all our problems. If we could only getnrid of this antichrist, we would live in a utopia of neve
ending peace and perfection.

In this reality, we must have dark and light, cold and heat, ncops and criminals, hate and love, etc. There's a necessarynpolarity in this world and to have only bliss and perfectionnis impossible. First, we would not recognize it as such, andnsecond, none of us are here on earth to live a life withoutnflaws and lessons.

Regarding the "injustices" in this world, we are responsiblenfor everything that happens to us. Due to the laws of karma, nall thought, intent and actions from past lives spill over intonthe present, whether or not we consciously remember themnand whether or not our current personalities choose to acceptnthis.

The good news is that we have free will to react to situationsnany way we choose. Instead of resisting life's challenges thatnseem impossible to change, we have the option of acceptingnthem, which leads to peace of mind. Of course, acceptance isnnot always easy, but delving into the "why" of things (from anspiritual standpoint) makes it easier. We also have the optionnto take responsibility for everything in our lives, whichnempowers and sets us free.
