It's hard to see people you love get old. It could be a stranger on the street. I have been fortunate to see people of ALL ages be young. They defy the odds. They break the mold of what they see happening to those around them. They remain youthful and "young" way into their years on Earth.

I had a wonderful Tai Chi teacher. He was a Black Belt Tai Chi Master. In his heyday he could knock over an opponent with the sway of a hand. His eightieth birthday was approaching. He commented on his birthday party. "Yes, they are giving me a birthday party to celebrate my coming demise." Having a sense of humor must be part of the reason for staying so young! His skin was beautiful, he looked fifty.

When you are young nature gives you perfection in the body. When you get older the truth of who you are is written on your face. When someone is an elder their beauty comes from within, their face reveals the love or hate they have shared with others.

We have twenty seven thousand billion cells in our human body/divine. These cells are in constant motion. When the cells rotate clockwise there is health. When they spin counter clockwise there is disease. (Mary Burmeister, Jin Shin Jyutsu) As in nature all hurricanes and tornados spin counter clockwise.

These miracles of rejuvenation happen in our physical bodies until we leave the planet:

Every month NEW SKIN
Every 3 months NEW BLOOD
Every 11 months EVERY CELL RENEWS
Every 2 years NEW BONES
Every 3 years we are BORN AGAIN
Every Day is EVERY THREE YEARS n(From Mary Burmeister, Jin Shin Jyutsu)

Edgar Cayce was asked how to stay young. "Be kind, be sweet, if ye are to stay young."

I recently had a young punk open the door for this "old lady." I wanted to say to him and all young people who make fun of their elders...

"You're looking at it." and "The only way is up!"nn©2008 Merry C. Battlesnnnnn
