How is your day going so far? Has it been stressful and busy? Are you longing for the weekend or vacation time to give you a much needed rest? How about an ocean wave pictures meditation that might just give you a moment of rest and relaxation from the busy stress of your day? Sit back for a moment and close your office door or find a quiet place. A place with fewer distractions will be better as you go through this ocean wave pictures meditation. Get yourself comfortable and turn the computer screen off. Don't forget to put the cell phone on silent mode. Now, just picture the ocean with me, if you will. If you have been to the ocean, this will be easy, but if not, you have probably seen enough pictures of the ocean for this to work. Just focus with your mind on the picture of the ocean that works best for you. Can you see it? Can you depict all the different colors of the image in your mind? What do you see? Take a moment and just observe all the colors that you see, from the shades of blue to the brightness of the sun reflecting upon the water. Notice the colors of the sand on the beach, as it meets the dune with its green vegetation. Depending upon the size of the waves, you may see white caps billowing as waves crash on to the shore. What other colors do you see in your picture of the ocean? Just pause and observe. As you continue, keep the image of this ocean wave pictures meditation in your mind. Feel the salt mist on your face as the ocean breeze meets you upon your entry into the beach. See and hear the birds as they fly by, merrily enjoying their day. Take your shoes off and just allow your bare feet to wade down into the surf, as you walk along the sandy beach, feeling the coolness of the water against the hot sand. With the ocean wave picture in your mind, allow yourself to hear the waves of the ocean as they help you escape from all the stress that you are facing in your day. Let the ocean waves fill your ears and mind with sounds that push out all other exte
al noises of the day. Bask in this moment, where nothing matters but the sounds of the waves crashing into the shore. Give yourself a few moments here beside the ocean, on the sandy beach, as you take in everything around you. Even though we are focusing on ocean wave pictures in your mind, allow this moment to be as real as if you were truly standing on the beach. Allow the power of the ocean to refresh and renew your day. Give it the opportunity to bring power and strength in to your moment, while taking away stress that is serving you no purpose. Give yourself the time you need in this moment to take all of this in for your life. As you begin to allow yourself to come back to this current moment, realize that a picture in your mind is very powerful. You can stop at any moment of your day and escape into a place of peace and tranquility, just by seeing the ocean wave pictures in your mind. Allowing yourself just to be in this moment and connect with this place, will bring you right back to this spot. It really is that easy. Coming back fully into the room, honor yourself in this moment, for giving your day a break that you badly needed. Find that this ocean wave pictures meditation will carry you on into the evening and through the remainder of your week. Feel refreshed, renewed, and energized as you continue with your day. While you may be able to see the ocean waves picture in your mind, it may be helpful to actually hear the sounds of ocean waves as you do this meditation. Playing these sounds in the background as you read this ocean wave pictures meditation, will most likely enhance the entire experience.
