Relieving Stress Through The Power Of Hypnosis
The pressures of modern-day life place all of us under increasing amounts of stress and strain. Finding ways of relieving stress is essential if we are to have any chance of improving our happiness and the general quality of our lives.
As I've said, stress is becoming more and more prevalent in people's lives.
Findings from the National Health Interview Survey revealed that some seventy-five percent of people experience some level of stress every two weeks. Of that seventy-five percent, half experienced moderate to high levels of stress every week.
All this stress has serious implications on people's lives
So much so, that according to statistics from UK Health and Safety Executive (UK HSE) 70% of all visits to doctors is believed to be for stress related complaints; it also indicated that stress accounts for around 85% of serious illnesses.
We cannot get away from the fact that life is stressful.
Whether it's related our personal, professional or financial positions, stress is something we regularly have to contend with.
Moderate amounts of stress can be good fo us as it can help stimulate us to perform certain tasks more efficiently, however, too much can be seriously damaging to our health.
THE SILENT KILLER OF STRESS
The damaging effects that stress can have on our health are numerous. Stress in high levels can bring about heart disease, high blood pressure, strokes and other life threatening illnesses.
It can also suppress the immune system, preventing you to fight off infection and disease, as well as cause things like depression, sleep problems and infertility.
Taking all these facts into account, finding ways of relieving stress from our lives has to be a major priority.
STRESS BUSTING WITH HYPNOSIS
The most common relieving stress techniques include things such as meditation, acupuncture, massage therapy and Reiki. However one of the most popular and effective ways of dealing with and relieving stress is through the use of Hypnosis.
Hypnosis is a process whereby the participant is placed in a relaxed trance-like-condition, and the therapist then makes appropriate suggestions that help bring about positive changes in their life.
When the participant is in this deep-trance like state, the conscious mind is suppressed, thereby allowing the subconscious mind to be more accessible and receptive to new suggestions.
These new suggestions which could include confidence and motivational statements can then be impressed directly into the subconscious mind, which will gradually help develop new positive ideas, habits and behaviors.
By consistently repeating these suggestions under hypnosis, these new positive ideas and behaviors become ingrained, enabling the participant to be to deal with difficult and stressful situations easily and more effectively as and when they arise.
Hypnosis is proven to be a very effective stress management tool. It's a technique that's worked for so many people.
So if you're finding ways of relieving stress and living a happier life, then hypnosis could just be the solution you're looking for.
