As a remote viewer (clairvoyant) who has worked on cases involving missing persons for law enforcement over the last several years, I desired to take this skill and use it as a tool in the therapy arena. As I near completion of my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling this December, my goal is to combine both alternative and traditional forms of treatment for a unique approach to counseling. I have worked with clients in an alternative format for years. Now it is time to put it all together. This includes utilizing remote viewing as part of that approach. My ideology is if I am able to pick up on information energetically surrounding a victim and/or perpetrator for forensic purposes, why not offer this service to women, parents and children in order to help them to lead healthier lives? If I am able to tune in to an individual’s energy and assess where they may be stuck or blocked energetically and expose the information that lies beneath that block, wouldn’t that be of extreme benefit to the client both in time and money? For example, I work to shed light on the root cause of stagnation a woman may feel as she explores creative options for herself, or to expose the underlying reasons a child is exhibiting challenging behavior patterns to a parent. These are just some examples of the types of clients I have worked with. In addition to shedding light on specific issues, I also provide strategies and techniques to my clients in order to work in a brief and solution focused manner, helping individuals to work with challenges they are faced with a sense of empowerment. Regarding parents and children, I always work to put the power back in the hands of the parent. I do this by focusing on strengths of both parent and child. By sharing information I receive by doing an energetic assessment, as I call it in my work with clients, I am able to witness remote viewing playing a valuable role in the arena of counseling. In addition, as I began to use these techniques with clients, I realized I didn’t want to use remote viewing as if I had access to a crystal ball. I am not interested in forecasting events or predicting when Mr. Right will come along, but rather I seek to help clients to do the work they need to do in order to lead fulfilling lives. A client must do the work themselves. I merely act as a guide in helping with the solution. The relationship using remote viewing is a partnership and though I am often able to get to the heart of the matters in a brief time frame, solutions only become solved when they are applied. The client does the applying with the strategies and ideas presented. In my opinion, this is when remote viewing does what it is intended to do: provide information to help guide the client to wellness. Accessing information energetically has been very successful in my holistic practice to date. It is a tool that I have witnessed help individuals free themselves emotionally, remove obstacles in one’s path, repair relationships, and empower parents as authorities on their children and how best to help them. I look forward to using it even more. rnFor more information about the author, or to comment on this article, please visit my web site at www.jillsylvester.com.
