26 January is celebrated as a Republic Day of India Since 1950, after the two and half years of Independence. Every Indian Celebrates this day with joy and happiness. School and college scholars are also eager to enjoy yourself this festival, so they are also engaged in preparing for it a month ago. All students who have done well in sports, studies or other programs in the academic session are honored with prizes and certificates on this day.

Republic Day is the national festival of India. This day is celebrated in the joy of becoming a republic of India. On January 26, 1950, India has stated a Republican nation. The new era was invested on this day by accepting a new composition of independent India. It was a day of self-confidence for the Indian public. According to the constitution, Dr. Rajendra Prasad come to be the 1st President of Independent India. People celebrate happiness throughout the country. Subsequently then, on January 26, each year the Republic Day has been celebrated in our nation.
On the occasion of Republic Day, the leading event proceeds in Delhi. On this occasion, a President is invited as the Chief Guest. The President travels here with his bodyguards and hoists the flag. They were given a 21-gun salute. Army band sings the tunes of the national anthem and the President inspects the parade. Children of various departments, NCC Cadets of the police paramilitary and army personnel participate in the parade. A large variety of leaders, ambassadors, and the general public are come to see the parade.
Republic Day is the day of the evaluation of its accomplishments. Newspapers and magazines print out many reports related to it. There are colorful events on television. Places of place are encircled by the Qawwalis and Kavi conventions. The nation feels proud of its republic.

Leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose lost their lives. Today, we all are here to celebrate the 71st Republic Day of our nation. This is a great and auspicious occasion for all of us. We should greet one another and pray to God for the event and prosperity of our nation.
We celebrate Republic Day in India every year on the 26th of January as the constitution of India came into force on this day. We are regularly celebrating the Republic Day of India since 1950 as on the 26th of January in 1950 India constitution came into force. India may be a democratic country wherever the general public is permitted to elect its leaders to guide the country.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad was our first President of India. Since we got independence from British rule in 1947, our country has developed a lot and counted among the powerful countries. Together with some developments, some drawbacks have also arisen such as inequality, poverty, unemployment, corruption, illiteracy, etc. We need to require a pledge these days for finding such issues in society to form our country the simplest country within the world.
