Karnal - the land founded by Karna, the eldest son of Kunti from the legendary epic of Mahabharata. Located in the wealthy state of Haryana, it is now home to some of the most popular real estate housing projects.
It is one of those regions which is now standing in its stages of development and growth. It is connected through the Delhi-Ambala railways and Sher Shah Suri Marg or the Grand Trunk Road to almost all of the important places in the country. It is approximately 123 kilometers from Delhi and 130 kilometers from the city of Chandigarh. The district of Karnal is surrounded by the Kurukshetra District on its north-west side, Jind & Kaithal district standing on its West, Panipat district present on its south and Uttar Pradesh on its east.
They say, “It is never too late to learn”, which is why the potential real estate players in the field of affordable housing are making Karnal their preferred choice for action.

Affordable housing, as largely and infamously defined, refers to the housing units that can be bought by a particular section of the society, whose income lies below the median income of the population of the country. It refers to having a home where they do not have to invest more than thirty percent of their income earned.

Coming back, here is why Karnal is the desired location for the investors as well as for the people buying homes:

As per the Livability Index, Karnal is said to be joining the clan of cities worth living in. This Index is said to take into account a number of factors like - availability of open spaces, water and sanitation facilities, proper waste managing facilities as well as pollution levels. Now that the results are out, it has only made it clear for people and the investors to have proper reasons to look at this place as their area of investment.

With a history that connects the people to their cultural grounds, Karnal is supposed to be the central point of attraction for everyone - be it the tourists or the natives. It is infamously known as “The Rice Bowl of India” and is one of the oldest districts of Haryana. It not just contributes largely towards the Indian economy, but is also home to many religious spots like the Sita Mai Temple - which is known to be the exact place where Goddess Sita buried herself in the earth when Lord Rama asked her to prove her purity. Hence, holding many religious beliefs and stories, this district is also the pride of the country. With Kalpana Chawla and Sakshi Malik, it is the most talked about district of the city.

The cost of living is comparatively less, as told by many realty experts. With the connectivity and ease of commutation offered through well connected roads and highways, this place acts as the focal point for the Indian Government to invest well, in financial as well as on other terms too. There are a number of places that can actually be checked out by all for outings and picnics like the famous Karnal Lake which is known to house the most beautiful greenery and birds or even the Kos Minar city.

Hence, Karnal not only offers scope for new opportunities that arrive, but also helps and assures the potential of the projects coming up, reach their desired levels of success. An industry so dynamic like real estate, has the ability to soar high on the soil of this city where miracles have always happened.
